This lacquer / varnish checking sensor is a simple but efficent method for checking the presence or absence of lacquer or varnish on a conductive metal sheet. The sheet is monitored during transportation by a sensor brush.
Together with the connected controller total missing or part missing of lacquer is detected. Missing lacquer switches in the controller an output relay contact that can be used for controlling alarms, switch offs, sheet ejects etc. There are different sensor brush lengths available. One or two brushes can be connected to one controller for checking either only one or also both sides of sheet.
